A Journey in D 2013
In art the process informs the artefact and for many artists the journey to completion is a mystery. With a desire to break with my more conceptual approach to jewellery, in this work I expressly chose a more non-linear path – from A to B (via D). Using industrial and architectural constructions to represent the translation of ideas to tangible forms, I stepped into the void, embraced the unknowns, and shed the constraints that might normally guide my work.
